What to expect on your tour
You will spend roughly 4 to 5 hours inside the tour vehicle traveling to and from the mountain. Once inside the park borders, you will make frequent stops. Most tours include 1 to 2 hours of easy walking on maintained trails. Restrooms are available at visitor centers and museum stops.
Weather at 5,000 feet differs drastically from Seattle. Pack layers, a windbreaker, and wear closed-toe walking shoes. High elevation increases UV exposure, so bring sunglasses and sunscreen even on cloudy days.
